Going through old photos and found this again. I miss this sidewalk, it always brought things into perspective when we're all so used to seeing profanity, hate, or penises carved into the concrete. Good to see some positive vandalism for once. This was from the ISU campus, it was on the DEAD CENTER of campus. I used to go out of my way to walk by it.

nice thought this time of year, thanks,
very nice,
thanks for sharing.
after all the insanity we see on the news...(shooting in las vegas, @LSU, in Des Moines)...nice to see someone sharing love.

1. "God is Love" I recently read Nando Parrado's account of the Andean plane crase (remember the movie Alive!). He had a very unique perspective on how much that meant; i.e. all love is a reflection of God and vice versa.
2. the above made me think about one of my favorite hymns -- especially when it's rung out LOUD and with plenty of Gospel soul -- the one that goes "And they'll know we are Christian's by our Love... BY OUR LOVE!"
the movie I saw last night "I Am Legend" mentioned one of my favorite things about Bob Marley. Marley believed that he/we could CURE racism and hate by injecting music and LOVE into people's lives. Light up the darkness. When a gunman came to marely's house and shot him down, marley STILL appeared on stage two days later for his show. He said, "The bad people of this world aren't taking any days off. Why should I?"
How was I Am Legend, wasn't it depressing?? anybody in it beside will smith and mean dogs?? or was it lion's in the preview??scared me.
