Fantastic Mr. Fox

Roscommon and I hit up a movie last night - The Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Roald Dahl was one of our favorite authors growing up with family favorites of Danny, Champion of the World; Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach, The B.F.G.; The Twits, and Mr. Fox. We knew most of them. This movie was done very differently, and I enjoyed it. The script was hilarious - both of us thought it was the funniest movie we'd seen all year save for maybe The Hangover. We both highly recommend this one.

this was SOOO good. i totally thought it was fantastic. the actors they got to do the voices were superb. the lines were witty & funny and the animation had a cool look to it. Wes Anderson did a cool job with the soundtrack too.
caboose & i were the only two people in the theater until a group 5 or 6 came in during the opening credits....and sat directly behind us. >:(

I looked all over Omaha for this movie but alas, it had moved on, I plan on buying it when it comes out and have the grandkids come down and see it with me. glad you liked it. My favorite book of Dahl's--Danny the Champion of the World. :)
